Sales Consultant
Position Information:
A Sales Consultant is directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.
Responsibilities:
Realize the business is built on customer satisfaction and devote themselves to satisfaction.
Determine customer needs.
Demonstrate vehicles.
Deliver sold units.
Attend sales meetings and training meetings.
Maintain prospect and follow up system.
Keep abreast of new products and trends.
Know and understand equity and values.
Understand vehicle terminology.
Introduce customers to the Service Department.
Knowledge of company products, prices, models, options, warranties, colors and standard equipment.
Must complete manufacturers certification process.
Qualifications:
Must have excellent communication and people skills, a desire for a career, have previous sales experience or a position where they interacted or assisted customers in a retail environment. Must have a valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record, and the ability to effectively relate to customers of all backgrounds. Must also have basic computer skills. This position is full time and includes all company benefits.
This position is a 5-day workweek involving some evening hours and every Saturday.
